Robert Rodriguez’s CHINGON Band is the musical collective created by film director and composer Robert Rodriguez as he sought to cinematically fuse the imagery of Mexican culture and its music, using electrified mariachi sounds, surf music, and gritty garage rock. His Chingon music is heavily featured in the films: Sin City, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Kill Bill 2, Planet Terror, Alita Battle Angel, and Machete.
